Save the Date - Quilt Plano 2012 - August 10 - 11

New to Quilt Plano 2012

We have added a few things this year designed to assist our patrons who attend our show. A valet service will be available for $5 for those who would like to use it. This will help in a couple of ways. It will let those using the valet service avoid searching for parking spots and have their car delivered to the entrance and their packages loaded after a day of shopping at our quilt show. It will also open more parking on the East side of the building for those who want to park their own vehicle.

Wheelchairs will be available at an hourly rate for those who cannot spend the day walking but still enjoy the art of quilting.


Show Posters

If you would like a poster to display in your store or location, please contact the Quilt Show Chairperson by email to request a poster.




Raffle Quilt

If you would like to purchase raffle tickets, or schedule us to come to your location to sell raffle tickets, please contact the Quilt Show Chairperson by email. The tickets are $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00. Our raffle ticket drawing will be held at the show at approximately 3pm on August 11th.


Show Reminders

We will mail Quilt Show reminders in early July. If you would like to make sure you are included on that mailing, plase contact the Quilt Show Chairperson by email.

Hotel Accommodations

A list of hotels willing to offer our vendors and show attendees a discounted rate is available. Please contact the hotels directly and use Code (to be provided) to receive the discounted rate.

Quilt Plano History

In 1991, the guild proudly produced its first quilt show, called QuiltPlano 91 at the Plano Centre. It was a creative success. Since then, ethe guild has hosted the quilt show every two years, with displays of over 300 quilts. This past year, we voted to host the quilt show on an annual basis and look forward to seeing you each year.



Quilt Plano 2011 - August 12th, 9am-6pm & August 13th 9am-5pm

The Quilt Plano 2011 Show was held August 12-13 at the Plano Centre. The quilt were beautiful and the vendors were happy.

Also, there will be an area for you to bring your students and allow us to show them the very basics of quilt making. We will have hand quilting, red-work, and sewing machines available for all to work on. There will also be a workbook for the students to complete or take home with them.

Last but not all least will be our wonderful vendors. We are planning over 30 vendors that will be here waiting for you to see their wares. We all love the fabric and colors and new techniques to accomplish our quilts. See the vendor listing below.
